American Songbook (i wonder what that actually means in terms of this concert for k.d. lang if there is any difference from the rest of the tour?)
“Ms. Lang fuses Patsy Cline's earthy torchiness with Peggy Lee's smoky intensity and Liza Minnelli's belting fervor. — The New York Times
k.d. lang could have the most extravagantly praised voice performing today. Her duets with Tony Bennett are legendary, and she is a multi Grammy Award winner for her albums Shadowland, Ingenue, and A Wonderful World (with Bennett.) Originally a country star in her native Canada, lang’s impeccable musical taste and soaring vocals led her into the pop genre with ease. With the release of her newest album, Watershed, lang is at the very top of her game.
